Be careful of the cactus minefield! Bring your own calligraphy instrument. Off the beaten path this cache affords unobstructed views of the Wet Mountains. The Wet Mountains are a small mountain range in southern Colorado, named for the amount of snow they receive in the winter as compared to the dried Great Plains to the east. They are a sub-range of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, in the southern Rocky Mountains System. In addition to ample outdoor recreation across verdant valleys and rolling mountains, the Wet Mountains are also home to the famous Bishop Castle.

TFTC we found it about 90’ from the posted coordinates, but they might not have updated yet. The posted coordinates are pretty close when we used a Garmin GPS, but they were off when we used the map and navigation feature on our phones. Cactus minefield
