What else would you do on Easter Sunday but a billkat cache! Seriously I wasn’t ready for this one. We came in from Old Stage direction. It took us 4 hours total. I was exhausted, but Ernie kept telling me we needed to keep moving because of possible rain. It didn’t happen...only heavy graupel and major thunderstorms. I thought I was going to die on Easter Sunday! Loved the hike! I really need to get myself back in shape! I don’t think it’s going to happen

FTF with estes01 around noon today. We had all kinds of weather, from hot and sunny to graupel to thunder and lightning. There was one other brave hiker on the upper loop but other than that, it was a wonderfully solitary day. We’d seen the crash site in 2011 when finding another cache but it is still a sobering site. I added what I had on my GPS - May or may not help. TFTC!
