Between Aspen and Woody Creek, Colorado. Altitude about 7563To get to Wilton Jaffee Sr Park, take Hwy 82 to the 34.4 mile marker and turn to Woody Creek Canyon. At the bottom of the hill just over the river you will find the park just to your right, N 39 15.494 W 106 52.933.Just after the parking lot you will find a split in the trail, the upper trail goes to the Rio Grande Bike Trail and the lower trail goes along the river. You can take either but I would suggest the lower trail along the river and you can always take the upper trail back if you wish. On the lower trail you may see kayak's, fly fishermen, birds, wild flowers, people on horseback, mountain biker's and people walking their dogs depending on the season. If your walking I would plan for about an hour and a half hike in and out. There are picnic benches by the parking lot or you could have a snack and something to drink along the banks of the river on the way to the cache. The cache is a clear plastic container with a white top and rock on top. The cache is only about 25 feet off the trail, please try to walk on the rocks so you don't leave foot prints leading to the cache, enjoy the hike and good luck.
When under the power look up hill for an old tree, don’t get stumped.

10/31/2017 By AspenTrailFinder Didn’t know if I’d have any luck as there wasn’t activity on this in over a year, but super happy to have found it! Wonderful little adventure hike along the Roaring Fork River. TFTC!

08/26/2016 By InfraPulse Nice hide! Found this one while riding some rented bikes. Thanks for the fun!
06/24/2015 By 9-rushman&farmgirl79 We parked in the parking area and made our way through all the muggle rafters to start our way down the trail. We took the lower trail along the river. This is areally easy hike and Farm Girl made it to the hide with no problems other than a few blisters. We saw alot of low flying airplanes during our hike. This was an easy find. Favorite because this is what Geocaching is all about. OLive hade alot of fun playing in the water and chasing squirls. Thanks for an awesome cache. [8d][8d] SL TFTC TNLN
