Bandit getting ready to hide the first stage

This is a multi-cache with three stages. You don't have to have a 4x4 to do this one but will find plenty of places to play if you do have one.
This cache is named for our Caching dog, Bandit. He really loves riding in the Jeep and traipsing around the country looking for hidden treasure. We decided to do this one as a multi just because we hadn't done one before. The first two stages are small military decon containers (about 3" X 4") and only contain the coordinates for the next stage.

The third (final) stage is a full size ammo can containing...
Log Book
Pencils and sharpener
Bandit's Travel Bug
A whole bunch of dog toys

It also includes a First To Find bonus of a Yellow Jeep Signal Pin.

Good luck, enjoy the views, and be sure and take your dog.

Dave, Gina, Jere, and Bandit

In the last 5 years, we are only the third finders of this excellent multi. Claire definitely enjoyed the hike, managed to avoid all the cactus, and darn near halved Utahcolor when she spotted a rodent - retractable leashes are great right until the end. We mostly just walked the old two tracks (now closed, at least from the east), which made for much easier going. The entire Elephant Rocks area is interesting, and there is no better way to get a feel for it than to track down this cache. Many thanks to daveandgina for this and their other great caches.

The date is give or take a couple days. Nicely placed multi. Took some time as we walked the whole thing with our dog. It was deceiving at some points. Awesome!

Always a fan of multi-caches! Thanks for taking the time to place all these :)!

I spent some quality time wandering out here in the snow. Found the first two stages (which were in fine shape), but couldn't locate the third one in the snow. The great clue let me know I was in the correct spot. I'll return for the third leg this summer. Fun times wandering through this area. Thanks.

Great cache! If you do it all on foot you even get a little exercise. The whole family went with our new puppy and really enjoyed it.

This was tons of fun! We took our Boston Terrier, Roxy, along. She helped us sniff out the first two stages, but she was lazy and stayed in the vehicle for the final stage. Thanks for taking us out on Thanksgiving day! TFTC!

Great cache. Loved the area. Sunny day with a bit of wind. Took a while to find the 2nd stage. Something has tried to chew it open and it wasn't totally closed but it's in good shape still. Can't believe no one has found this cache since Sept 2009. TFTC TNLN.
