What does a bear say? Find this geocache to find out!

This cache represents the jouney of love heart I made my first hike up Pike's Peak with a woman I knew I'd quickly fall in love with. We stopped to rest a few hundred yards from this spot, and I tried working up the courage to kiss her for the first time. Not only did I chicken out, but due to an incoming storm, we didn't even make it to the top of Pike's Peak. I decided to make a geocache with a letter inside explaining how much she meant to me and asking her to be my girlfriend, and hid it in the same spot I tried to kiss her. I convinced her that we should take a nice drive up the mountain a few weeks later, and we stopped to have a snow ball fight just before the Boulder Field. Soon after, I realized I locked my keys in my car! Since our backpacks were now locked inside, we had no choice but to hitchhike to the top of Pike’s Peak to call for a locksmith. Even after dealing with this crazy day, I knew I couldn’t wait any longer to call her mine. I asked her to be my girlfriend, and I could not be happier when she said yes! A few days later, there was a break in the weather, and we ventured up the mountain again to our spot. We finally found the geocache, and together we found an even better spot for it to hide. This new spot is perfect for viewing the majestic sights and enjoying time with that special someone!

Got an early start from the Crags trailhead this morning and had a very nice hike up to Devil's Playground. Weather was perfect, so I took several detours once up top (and on the way down) to pick up some nearby caches. My goodness, some of these have been lonely for a while! Thank you for placing this cache. I voted "Grrr!"

Wow, what a day. Weather, views, sights and caches. The plan was to take advantage of the weather and find some Pikes Peak caches. Particularly at the Devil's Playground. After stopping at the Survivor Tree, it wasn't too far to head over here. Found the cache and enjoyed the view. Thanks for placing a cache here.

Headed back down and headed to this one. Took a few minutes to find with the bounce in the area, all rocks seemed to look alike. Have to say I enjoyed walking in this area. Appreciate the placement, moving on down the trail.
