This cache is on the way to the old Goat Mountain cache. Easy ride or hike into Waterton Canyon but the last bit of the hike up to the cache is difficult.
The trail starts under the aqueduct pipes. If you go about 50 feet up the trail, there is a good place to stash a bicycle. That's what I did when I hid the cache. The trail beyond this spot is steep so be careful. It's rather strenuous going up and a bit tricky coming back down. Watch for snakes!

This is the trail that goes up to Goat Mountain and you can see it from the cache location. Just imagine yourself going all the way up there. Or, you can keep going all the way!

Phew-Whee! If this terrain is rated a 3, Im terrified of a 5 lol. But quite a challenge. Thank God there's a tree for gripping, and the view is goregeous!!!

Holy cow. This is a terrain 3? I’ve seen 4T’s that are easier. Ok, I’m from 200ft elevation, so I obviously need to find more caches like this to get into high altitude shape.
The hike was awesome. The cache equally so. Nice large container so I dropped a few matchbox cars and a TB. This cache seems safer than most from muggles, so hopefully the TB finds a true cacher to carry it to another home.
Thanks for the hide, especially after I had to give up on Amphibious due to woeful unpreparedness to cross the creek. TFTC.

We wandered down this canyon a little less than prepared for our adventure. It was around 92 degrees. I came out here with @WindAtMyBack @fearthefish and @herndonrd . The hike up to this one offered amazing views of the canyon. Tftc!

We stumbled upon this geocache by accident. It was such a wonderful hike, beautiful views, a few feet from mountain goats, watching the sunset and we found it. Within, we discovered an unlogged Geocoin. As we haven't been Geocaching before, we have vowed to start now. SOOOO COOOL!!!
