No Dogs  Takes more than an hour  Significant hike  Bicycles  Horses  No Park and Grab

Take a rest at Lenny's Rest and then find this cache.
It's about 8 miles one way from the parking lot to get to this cache. The first 6 1/4 miles is a pleasant bike ride. The rest of the way is a good gain in elevation of about 700 feet up to over 6500 feet above sea level. You can ride your bike and lock it to the bike rack near the pavilion near the big dam. Then you can hike the rest of the way. You can also ride your bike up some good single track all the way to Lenny's Rest.

The cache is a bit downhill to the right from the bench at Lenny's Rest. Look for a clump of pine trees with a non-pine tree in the middle. It's in that tree. These trees are only between 5 and 12 feet high.

Yes, it's a micro. I had in mind hiding a larger cache up on top of the hill about 1/4 mile away but I ran out of time. Maybe next time. (I went back a week later and hid 2 caches up there).

Maybe you'll see big horn sheep. Maybe some deer. Maybe a bear. Maybe a lion.

 Hints

In a non-pine tree in a clump of pine trees. It's about a foot off the ground. Turn right just before you come to the fallen tree.

Had a delightful walk in the canyon, and up the hill on the trail - this was the third of seven geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Found with animjason while on an epic bike ride with animjason and cajrrman. It was a tiring, but epic caching day.

Great plaque near the cache.

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Resting at Lenny's from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

My ninth of thirteen caches found with Sissadies and cajrrman. He invited us on a bike ride today at Waterton. Our first time bike riding in years, that was a brutal but fun intro since we went about 16+ miles round trip. Definitely need better bike seat, ouch! Also pretty sure I accidentally put tomorrow's date on our log, oops.

Lenny's rest... last rest you'll get if you head towards the other two lol. Great memorial at the part you leave the trail.

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Resting at Lenny's from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

I checked on all my Waterton caches today. This one was fine except for the o-ring and wet log which I replaced.

Looked while through hiking Section 1 of the CT so I didn't spend a lot of time... found the trees but had to call "No Joy".
