Currently the road to Signal Peak is closed but will open up come summer. So if you are looking for the cache prior to summer you will need to hike/ride from the college or Tomichi Heights. Once the road is open you will need a high clearance/4wd drive in order to get within ~a mile. Most likely you will need to hike a bit. The views are awesome!
The cache is a tupperware container. Again I have placed a T-shirt in there, it is up to you whether you want to bring a T-shirt to exchange or something else. Also originally there are some treats in case you are running low on energy and a socket wrench that I found on the road while hiking up there.

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

The container is broken and has been chewed on pretty good. Might want to replace the bin.

CB_Beauty and I started our "Summer of Lonely Caches" yesterday in an attempt to update/liven up some lonely caches that have not been found in at least 2 years. Today we saw two lime kilns and Gunnison from high elevation.

CBB and I hiked from the bottom of Signal Peak, grabbed that cache, and headed over and up to this one. I am glad I started using hiking poles, they helped me dig in and assist me up the hill. This was steep! We hurried to the very top and realized we had ventured too far. Geo-dog did great coming up here, but two large hills combined with the sun and heat wore him out and we had to take several rest stops on the way back to the truck. We saw two sets of bike tracks without tell-tale footprints from pushing a bike up the hill, so someone today made it up then flew back down. They would have flown until braking for the cow fence to open the gate and re-close. Great views up here. We saw no one.
