I was determined to have a go at this cache after solving the puzzle at home before my CO vacation. Sadly, I couldn't get out to make the search until after dark on our last day in Durango (we'd spent all day on the mountain train from Silverton), and wasn't able to make the find. It could've been worse; I nearly got locked inside the cemetery
! I wish success to others who may seek this cache; I probably won't get another chance at it.

Traveling from Gunnison to Gallup taking the scenic route, targeting new counties, Delorme pages, highly favored and birthday caches...solved the puzzle a few days ago at home...searched for about 30 minutes and came up empty...

Just happened to be stuck in Durango during the iron horse race. Checked on a couple caches and this one is still there . It’s not going anywhere. It is invisible but in plain sight.

Encouraged by the earlier find, my son and I came out to get this one. Looked for an hour until it started pouring rain. Really loved this puzzle.

Team Los Bastardos Finlandeses on a Geocaching road trip in United States. Team consists of three names: kapeka, laalaa and ours. We used our stamp to log the caches or writed LBF to smaller logs. On two week trip we drove about 3000 miles through six states (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Nevada) and made a quick visit behind border to Mexico, Los Algodones.
At Yuma, Arizona we had nice sunny weather when we were at the mega event. But later at Tucson and Phoenix area we got some rain and later at Utah temperature was 10F and it rained some inches of snow. That slowed us down little bit but we did found quite a bunch of caches on our trip. We found nice caches, had a fun trip and saw many beautiful places.
Today our journey continued from Bloomfield, New Mexico to Green River, Utah. The weather was nice but it was a bit cold. Still much warmer than -15F at home. Early in the morning we found some caches from Bloomfield area, before heading to Colorado. This was solved before our trip, but no luck finding this one. Greetings from Finland!

My DNF yesterday kinda hurt, so I was willing to do what it took to avenge it before we left town this morning. I am grateful that the CO took some pity on me and sent me a lifeline last night.
Regarding the cache, earlier in the year my wife and I had watched and enjoyed The Imitation Game - the story of Alan Turing and the cracking of the Enigma machine code (great movie which I highly recommend, btw). Fortunately deciphering coded messages these days does not pose as much a challenge as Turing had, but still presents a satisfying reward when things come together to reveal a hidden message. In fairness, having several other Enigma machine caches in the Boston area didn't hurt either.
This morning in between loading up the car for a drive down to Albuquerque I snuck away for a few minutes to try this one again. As it turned out, yesterday I was oh-so-close, literally centimeters away, but somehow missed it. Most excellent camo and construction on this one for sure. From start to finish, this is a fantastic cache; thank you jake92 for a fun cache and definite favorite!

Of all the caches I wanted to find in Durango, this was it. Unfortunately after a 30 min search in the trees the pounding rain forced me into submission.
