Looked around for 10 minutes, didn't see trace if it. Seemed to be nothing above snow at coordinates.

I had a great time hiking and caching the Mary Jane area today, finding 8 of the 10 caches I targeted. I left my home in Loveland on a nice morning in the upper 50s. But I got a rude surprise as I crossed Berthoud Pass, my dashboard showed it was 39°, and there was a dusting of fresh snow above timberline! I parked at the lot next to the Freeriders lift and it had warmed up all the way to 43! I threw on an extra long sleeve T and headed up the mountain. I had a route planned out that minimized elevation loss as best I could. My route was Manchego, Granita, Spumoni, Zabaglione, Knox, Mary Jane Cache, Ricciarelli, Camembert, Mary Jane Micro, and finally Provolone. The two I could not find were the first stage of Spumoni and Provolone. Each cache found was located fairly quickly and I signed the logs. Thanks for the lure to Mary Jane!!

Just a quick ride break from work. Nice sunny day. If you feel like shopping come visit me at work. Go to the Jane Shop and ask for Kyle.

I visited three times to no avail today. Looked above, below, and on the rock/cliff. I'm a rookie, though. It's a nice place to hang out, so I'm happy.

Ah, my final cache on the mountain today, after a super cache-finding hike that involved lots of cumulative elevation gain and much more distance than was necessary if I had realized that Mary Jane base was at a different location than the Village, and some superb caches. This was a fitting closure, and finding it took much longer for me than it should have. I WAS very careful for the final 20 feet (or the final 3 feet), per the cache and a previous Found log write-up. I was so careful that I became distracted and went right by a very logical hiding location that I finally discovered on my third careful search through the GZ vicinity. Thanks for this one (and for all the others today).
