In Estes Park Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park hummingbird feeders are a definite attractant for hungary bears looking for something to eat.  Thus, instead of feeders we should plant colorful flowers as a natural food source for the birds. One drawback is the flowers attract deer and elk.  There are a few flowers the elk and deer do not like such as geraniums and poppies .  

There is a convenient parking\pullout on the west side of road. Walk across road to find cache.. Be sure to put the log back in the lid so the next geocacher will be able to retrieve it.

Stopped for this one on our way back to the Y after summitting Emerald Mountain. Pretty sure we pulled in as another cacher was leaving, as we saw someone else in the area and another log from today. Sorry we didn’t say hi!
