Mrs. Herndonrd had a horse thing between Longmont and Boulder so I spent a couple of days getting some virtuals, earthcaches, and assorted others up in the area. FeartheFish tagged along for part of it. Nice area. TFTC!

I am away from British Columbia heading to the States for a 10 day road trip with 3 others -- Sweet Marie, MissPeach13 and Kteeeee. We signed logs with CCC stamp (Canadian Caching Crew)
Thanks to all the COs for making this such a great hobby/pastime

Day 4 and today it is Colorado and our goal is the oldest cache, road closed so alternate plan B

I was in the area to visit RMNP and my hotel wasn't too far from this virtual. I really enjoyed staying in this area and this was a nice visit here. Thanks for the cache!

On a Fall trip through Colorado doing some caching and seeing the sites. A beautiful scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. Visiting the downtown areas of Boulder, Denver, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs to name a few. We enjoyed a beautiful hike on the Barr trail at the Summit of Pikes Peak. It was a wonderful trip with quite a bit of caching thrown in along the way. Thanks to all the CO's for all the caches along the way.

We decided a short leg stretcher would be good for the kids before our last push to DEN. One found a pretty painted rock which she is holding in our attached picture.

Headed back to the airport to fly back to Texas and oppressive heat. We just needed a few each to meet Hidden Creatures goals because it will be too hot in Texas. This was a perfect mini power trail to meet our needs.

We are two Texans from Dallas on a Vacation with our son and 2 grandkids from San Antonio. We are enjoying beautiful Colorado!
