You can drive fairly close and then you'll have to get out and hike a short distance. There is alittle bit of up and down rocks, not real strenuous though:0)
I was out in this area looking for another cache and after finding it I decided to go alittle exploring. I found the next road left and took it out to the end and found another great overlook. I started picking up spent brass that some one had left and noticed way off in the distance was a propane bottle. Not a small on mind you, but a 20 lbs tank. Hiked out and retrived it too and left a 35 mm film canister where the tank was located.

YIPPEE!!! Blanketchief and I enjoyed our lunches nearby and the walk to the cache. The log was a little damp so we did what we could to dry it and made sure the container was properly closed. TFTC TNLN SL
