...NOT!

Using this photograph as your guide and a variation of the lyrics from Stealers Wheel: Aspens to the left of me, Ponderosa Pine to the right, here, I am, a cache in the middle for you.

If you know RPieperCO, he doesn't place bison tubes in trees, but does put interesting caches in trees instead. Ball bearings anyone? How high is that cache?! Listen to what Beatles tune in your head again and again?! This particular cache is in a great little area to hike and is a tip of the hat for the adventures.

Pay attention to specific environmental attributes shown and not shown as noted in the logs.

This cache could be more difficult in certain seasons.

Cache is not at the posted coordinates, but is a nice place to visit and start from. You will find there is some GPS variability too in the area as noted in the logs (up to 47 feet).

Watch for Big Foot in the area. He has been seen.

There is a trail map online (http://www.gmfcotrails.org/Trails-Map.html).

There is room for trackables and coins in the container.

Please recover the cache the same way or better than you found it so the next cacher can enjoy the find too.

Watch for wildlife and respect their domain.

Caching can be dangerous. There are inherent risks involved which you take upon yourself when you are caching.

Please be careful and remember rule #13 - HAVE FUN!

Congrats to RPieperCO and KTrackers on FTF!

I looked for this one last year and I struck out. Today, Offsprings and I hiked up this way and I took another look. We found the cache this time around. I was very close last year. If I had just look at the next up hill hiding spot then I would have found it. Thanks for the puzzle!

I did a nice loop of the Mt Dewey, Bratton and Catamount trails and picked up a few caches along the way. For this one I pondered for a few minutes, then searched a few minutes, then pondered a little while longer then searched and voila, there it was. Thanks to GoMRT for the placement and maintenance of this cache! All is well with the container and the log. TFTH!!!

Started an epic caching weekend by checking out the fire tower, then meandering south along Rampart Range Road. Met up with Billkat and GoMRT for a fun hike this morning. I love seeing the tribute caches the people in this community have placed for each other. After all the puzzles RPieperCO has placed, it's only fitting that this one took some brain work, then some leg work! Thanks for placing this cache!

Getting logs caught up, now that retreat to a more southerly (& wayy hotter) home provides more useable internet!
I saw Hartsd's 'BigFoot-O-meter' on the way out too -- Forecast hasn't changed yet.

I spent a good 45 minutes looking for this cache. I found a quarter, some type of Korean Neckless, 8-10 small pink ghosts hanging from an aspen and a geocoin (estes01 geocoin "British Columbia Flag 3" marked missing in 2013). I wonder if the geocoin as for sparrowPI 's final for "Fish Out Of Water Cache". It was a long way to go for a DNF. Large search area sure didn't help.

There were a lot of aspens and a lot of ponderosas and I tried a few places that fit the lyrics. Hmm.... no luck... stuck in the middle. But persistence paid off in the end and I was able to add my name to the log. Beautiful area! And now on up to the Horseshoe - if we can find the fabled connector trail! TFTC!

It's been a long time since I have been up this way. There are beautiful areas along the stream and it's a nice hike if you stick to the blue. I played a hunch about how to find this one and it eventually paid off. Thank for the motivation to return to this trail. TFTC

Clowns to the left, jokers to the right and here I am, stuck in the middle! I could not have handled the CO's disapproving gazes as I searched...something that WingsAndTales would have ignored. She always does her own thing. Please stay on the trail if you want to experience the Garden of Eden. Thanks for the cache.
