The Adventures of Buddy Love, Geo Hound Extraordinaire. Part 17
So it was Lilly that was the traitor, not Snow Belle. The group re-formed on a hillside in Colorado Springs. Shadow had already brought Abby and Jacqui up to speed. The flying object that hit Buddy in the head turned out to be a vile. Buddy handed the vile to Abby. She smelled and tasted the contents.

“This is one of Lilly’s concoctions. It is what she uses to put people under her control when her allure fails her. Even if we find Snow Belle, she won’t come with us willingly. We must make an antidote”

Linnux brought out his android phone and began to search. The ingredients for the antidote included rare herbs. He located a likely spot across town where the herbs might be found. Meanwhile, Buddy and Shadow discussed how to find Snow Belle. Surely someone within L.U.K.E. would know where she had been taken. They must find this information at all costs.

It began to rain. Water was pouring down in sheets. Their current location provided no shelter so they needed to leave. Abby and Jacqui left the hillside to find acquire the herbs. Linnux, Buddy and Shadow went searching for information.

Went for a nice long hike/jog after work today. Found the camo-taped battle axe and looked all over it for a micro embedded in it, then read the hint a little more closely. In the near-dark, that blends in so well! Thank you for placing this cache.

We, too, found the improvised stone battle axe, but I knew the search would not end there. The boys looked around for a bit before I read the hint, then went right to it. My oldest said he looked there, but must not have seen it. Dad 1, boys 0.
