Enjoyed a fun day of caching along Barr Trail on a beautiful Memorial Day. We owe so much to so many brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Quick find using the hint provided. Signed log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

What an amazing trek up Pikes Peak! This was my 2nd 14er, and I am very excited to check more off of the list! Each one of the geocaches we found along the way provided a much-needed break that we milked searching and drinking and eating and sitting. Thank you to all of the owners for placing these -- they were all great caches on an amazing trail!

Me and my better-half, CoachO, went to Denver for the Geowoodstock 14! As soon as heard it was over July 4th, I started planning and what started as a one week trip, expanded to two. And then three! From Watts Mill to Mingo to Tarryall and Geocache here in Colorado, we have quite a trip route set out across 13 states and enjoyed looking forward to the fun not knowing what we might run across. We hiked from Pikes Peak on the Barr Trail, and rock climbed Montezuma Rock in Garden of the Gods, and almost killed our Jeep at the first of three tri-state markers we visited. We went up to Rocky Mountain National Park and cached all the way down, and swung thru Kansas City and Memphis for ribs. We climbed to the top of Castle Rock for the micro up top and hiked the rim of Capulin Volcano in New Mexico. We stopped at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, and toured the bathhouses in Hot Springs, Arkansas after digging for gems at The Crater of Diamonds. From the Oz museum in Wamego and a visit with Ike in Abilene, Kansas, to our personal tour of Ft Lupton by one of the society members, we saw so many things and met so many great people. All because of GWS14!
Afterwards we were heading to Colorado Springs to meet up with a group from Michigan and use a rental house there as a base camp for exploring the area.
We rode the train up and started our descent after getting several of the caches up top. We saw quite a few people on the trail and many of them were ‘running’ it. By the time we got down here, the crowds had thinned and it was just the occasional hiker like us. We got this bugger as we worked our way down the Barr Trail at a nice steady walk. Approve
We had to spread out the search radius but we got it.
Thanks to all the cache owners for placing a cache for others to find, S/L.

found this about 15 feet from GZ on a lovely warm day. TONS of traffic in Barr trail today. remind us to not do this hike on a Saturday again! haha. almost got run over by both the cc. hockey and lacrosse teams. how old are we that they all looked about 15? haha. thanks for the cache. it definitely was such a relief to have caches to look for as we went further up the trail. definitely made the hike worth it!
