This is an easy cache to get to. I believe you can make it in a passenger car, but a high clearence vehicle would be best. When you get to the top you will be at 6300 ft.

For those who want a view of Montrose and the San Juans, this is the place. Any one that goes up there will enjoy the view. I am sure most locals have been up there several times. This is a small tin painted black so only small items will fit inside. with the following items: flashing reflector spring link UPS pen light and of course a log book with pencil. After reading the previous log, I decided I'd try to do some maintenance. I picked up a water-tight container and headed out after the cache. What a great location, with great views in all directions. Looks like a fun area to play, too. TFTC.

With a few finds yesterday, the 65 degree temps today and only 5 finds away from 500, I knew I couldn't stay home and clean house today. So GeoHubby and I loaded up to get the milestone and enjoy the nice weather. When we got to this point, I had 499 finds!!! I'm not a huge fan of hill climbing, but I suffered along while GeoHubby drove up the switchbacks. Once we got to the top, it was super windy and chilly, but we walked right to the cache! WAHOO, MY 500TH FIND!!!! TFTC!!!
