Out for a hike on St. Patty's Day, found a great place for a cache and I just happened to have one with me...Oh, Lucky Beans!

You can drive up BLM.8185 with a 4wd, when it's dry, and get fairly close.

The cache size is a regular and hiding under a juniper.

Just out for a ride and a cache today. GPS was all over the place and had us going in circles for awhile. The cache is in good shape and hidden well. SL TNLN TFTC.

Out for a Sunday drive and found ourselves near a cache that was in a coma! Cache is in great shape, signed log.

Went up today with big dog and replaced it with a new log and waterproof container.
Ready to go!

Found it, cache full of water, dumped it out and log book wasn't in its bag, so it's ruined.

Edit: wish I would have read the other log entries before I went, would of dropped off one of these waterproof notepads I've got.

Because we are having such a dry fall/early winter I was able to get to this in the cache mobile. Unfortunately, the cache was very wet inside and even had some ice. The treasure was in good shape but the log is toast. I was able to sign but I didn't rebag it because it was thoroughly water-logged. Fun little drive and hop up the hill. Poked myself in the head with a juniper branch and it bled for hours! Beware wearing a ball hat when walking through treed areas. Not the first time I've done that to myself.

Ahhhhhhhhh, I needed a good hike!! Promised the Geo-dog and her buddy a new hiking spot and they were thrilled too! Hiked way past the cache and circled around the out dropping and back to cache. Then hiked back down the road and to the car. Perfect weather for caching. Passed sbunch as I was headed to cache (I know that as she managed to sign the log). Oh yea, cache is soaked. Log book was to wet to sign very well.
