This is a series I thought of to share what I consider to be my caching essentials.
You may not agree because some are not really essential to caching. If you try them they may make the experience more pleasant. I am hardly ever without these items. I’m the type who wants to be prepared for anything.

Fanny Pack: This is what I use to carry all my essentials like my Palm Pilot, flashlight, extra batteries and travel bugs. You may use something else but you should be carrying along your essentials somehow.

Note the terrain rating here. Have on your fanny pack in case you fall on your fanny!

Find #48838

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide Raddad637, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

Out and about on a Sunday caching run with the always cheerful herndonrd. We decided to head out to the plains because we felt like grabbing a bunch today. We managed to find and sign over 40 caches, which was pretty good for a few hours of "work".

I enjoyed watching herndonrd make the grab here, which he did for most of the caches we found today (Translation: I don't move fast enough). His monkey skills were rewarded with the cast iron skillet that he found here, which is far more valuable than a fanny pack. After we did the whole sign and replace thing we were back in the geomobile and off to the next one. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

Out on a caching run with FeartheFish. Had to do a little climbing. Found a cast iron skillet lying at the base of the tree. TFTC!
