This is a series I thought of to share what I consider to be my caching essentials.
You may not agree because some are not really essential to caching. If you try them they may make the experience more pleasant. I am hardly ever without these items. I’m the type who wants to be prepared for anything.

Pen: You should always have a pen with you. This should be a no brainer if you have even a little experience. I’d never want to depend on a pen or pencil being in the cache.

Have your pen and watch out for the barbed wire or you'll be sent up the road for corrections.

I'm out and about before the storms start. In the interest of keeping this game going I also wasn't able to find a container, so, put in a new container and log. Enjoy!! SL TFTC

No smilie today. Maybe on a warmer day. Lots of tumbleweeds though.

Peacelovepi took mercy on my here. A few hours of battling the wind and I was beat. She easily made the find and we were off to a puzzle and then to call it quits for the day.

Oh my, where to begin. I try not to do cut and paste logs, but I didn't take the best notes today and we hit a ton of caches today. It's official, peacelovepi and I are working on the 360 degrees of Colorado challenge and I'm racing to get to 3000 finds. We came out to get some rays around the airport today. The weather didn't look like it was going to be bad, but we both underestimated the power of the wind. And the tumbleweeds. We did some power trailing, she was the driver and I was the runner. LOL I got absolutely accosted by tumbleweeds today - at multiple stops! I even had thorns in my pockets by the end of our run! Between the chill and the wind, logs were signed as "la pi" and they were usually signed wherever we could get to easiest/first. I thought we were going to cache all day, but by the time we got to the end of the listed caches here we were ready to call it a day. A big thank you to all the COs for the smileys and the 360 degree rays! This one was find #2975 for me.
