This is one of a couple caches placed in recognition of the 2016 PI day event in La Porte Colorado.

This micro cache is placed off of Overland Road.

Pecan Pie Recipe courtesy of Betty Crocker Ingredients: 1 refrigerated pie crust, softened 3 eggs 1 tablespoon whipping cream 1 cup packed dark brown sugar 3/4 cup light corn syrup 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur 1 teaspoon orange extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans 2/3 cup pecan halves Directions: heat oven to 350. Place pie crust in 9 inch glass pie plate. In medium bowl, beat 3 eggs. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, liqueur, orange extract and salt with whisk. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour filling into crust lined plate. Arrange pecan halves around outer edge of filling. Bake on lower oven rack 50 to 55 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely before serving. Enjoy!

Found it at 1254.
It took me less than a minute to spot this one. I was briefly surprised to see a brand-new log, but I noticed after the fact that the CO did some maintenance back in September, so it's a nice new cache just where they intended it to be!
I TNLNSLed, but I think I mistakenly signed it with the following day's date ("12/9/18").

Tftc found with artguru20. Couldnt sign the log. The log was stuck. The cache needs some love.

Found with chuppalloop. Had trouble with what was left of the cap, then couldn't get the log out - it appeared to be fused to the inside with mold. Needs some maintenance. TFTC!
