4/23/16 Note: The original whale sculpture swam to warmer waters so I've updated the photo and other information. It may be easier to find this sculpture but it's more difficult to get its coordinates so I left the ratings the same.

This wonderful statue is located somewhere in downtown Loveland within an area bounded on the north by 5th Street, the south by 1st Street, the west by Garfield Avenue, and the east by St. Louis Avenue.

Admire this work of art and then carefully mark its location.  The cache is 231 meters south of the statue.  The statue is 0.06776 degrees west of the cache.  Good luck.

Was able to slip out and grab this one prior to the monthly dinner event. Had a great pre-dinner walk to acquire the cache.

I remember when this cache first came out. It was much harder than anyone expected, me included. I learned a lot from this whale of a cache that has helped me since then. It's been a year or two since we were working on it and solved it. I just never went and got it. I was going through my solved puzzle list and BAM, the infernal whale was there. It seemed like a good idea to go get it before I lost the solved coordinates. The cache was there and in perfect condition. Thanks for the education and the fun. Next up...Park Place.
