CONGRATULATIONS TO leenmarcia - FTF @ 02:55pm
Seth Brundle, a brilliant but eccentric scientist attempts to woo investigative journalist Veronica Quaife by offering her a scoop on his latest research in the field of matter transportation, which against all the expectations of the scientific establishment have proved successful. Up to a point. Brundle thinks he has ironed out the last problem when he successfully transports a living creature, but when he attempts to teleport himself a fly enters one of the transmission booths, and Brundle finds he is a changed man. This Science-Gone-Mad film is the source of the quotable quote "Be afraid. Be very afraid."

Today after work I headed to the west side of town to meet up with @2lablovers to grab some great caches. We started near Belleview and Wadsworth then spiraled outward. The dark overhead clouds cooperated by not drenching us. Pleasant weather with great friends. We found more than 20 caches before calling off the search and celebrating at Sonic.
Favorite of the day! Tftc!

Caching with LostinDenver. This was definitely one of the best we found. Loved the cache -- might be a scary one at night. Gets a favorite point.

I've found quite a few of this CO's hides over in this part of town as it's close to my son's school. This was one on my list to grab before meeting up with T5M to help them move today. I remember seeing the movie when I was in college. It was about 10 years after it came out, and it was probably the first true sci-fi/horror movie I had seen. Definitely freaky with the non-CGI practical effects. Just because it was made in the 80's doesn't mean they didn't know how to do gore! Anyway, I had two viable options to search and it wasn't on the first. It was on the second and I happened on it as I turned my head and all of a sudden it was right in front of me!

The host was much bigger than I anticipated. The texture and the look I admit was kind of creepy to me! Coming to this spot on a cold February morning was perfect as there were no muggles around. Probably not the case on a warm summer afternoon! Glad to get this one found and I'll be fine if I don't find one like that again! :)

Thanks for the hide jademaria. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

The container deserves an eewwee. :-) We found it on the ground and left it there tucked under some mulch. Hopefully the CO intended it to be there. Log was wet but sign able. Thanks for the fun!
