Mr. Leonard Nimoy, best known for his portrayal of Mr. Spock in the original Star Trek series (1966-1969) as well as several other movies, television shows, sitcoms, and cartoons passed away on February 27, 2015 at the age of 83. This cache was placed in his memory.

A Nanite is a piece of nanotechnology which was initially depicted in Star Trek: The Next Generation. This provides a clue as to what exactly you might be looking for
