Recommended for kids  Scenic view  Significant hike  Available during winter  No Poison plants  Bicycles  Stealth required  Cross Country Skis  Tourist Friendly  No Tree Climbing

In the winter, this one is easily accessible on skis or snowboard. In the summer, it will involve a significant hike or bike, but will be well worth the trip. Look for a Mighty Mega Bison tube "hanging". It contains a log sheet, pencil and small swag. Please be sure to hang it back up securely when finished signing & trading.
Anyone who has fallen in love with the mountains will agree: there's a special kind of magic here! As a Colorado native, I grew up playing in the mountains, summer and winter. My parents put me on skis when I was 4, and my love for the sport has not waned. My passion for Geocaching came much later, and on one of my many trips here, I decided Peak 7 needed another cache, and found the perfect location for it. Enjoy your day on the mountain!

Very clever hide! A fun one! We missed it the first time down from Whale's tail - we went too far north. We circled back up from the base of 8, went up the T-bar, came down the correct way and found it. No idea how deep the snow is in this spot, but the cache was still accessible though - it would be interesting to see this in the summer to compare. SL. TFTC. Favorite for this one! No trackables in the container.

Stopped by today to drop a couple of my pathtags, and a trackable that wants to visit the best ski/snowboard places.

Found the cache. Definitely accessible on skis. Took a coin, left a very conspicuous coin that's been traveling the Northeast. Didn't fit in the cache so hopefully it is grabbed soon. TFTC!

Stopped by today and added an unactivated trackable for the next lucky finder.

It is not easy to be stealthy in this situation. Any geocacher would be suspicious of someone sliding around peering at a screen but fortunately the average ski punter couldn’t care less. Retrieval and replacement was a tad tricky but we loved the hide and the container. Thanks, LuckyFeather...good fun.

It was exactly where I knew it was (where I zoomed past my last visit to Breck) my problem this time was my short arms...TFTC.
