A small cache placed in a rock field  on the edge of an elk calving meadow.
The SMD went into this area on snow shoes on a sunny March day. We left,  items in this cache important to us: a jeep (Jeepcrzy's) symbolizing our enjoyment of geocacing, a Barney (our work is each involved with early childhood), a candle beacuse we are travelers seeking illumination, a STAR as we are both Star Trek (Next Generation) junkies.

Looked and agree with last seeker the original cache is gone. I placed a fake pinecone at GZ with a bison tube and log inside. TFTC

I was so excited to get to this meadow & had found the nearby cache, but when I got here the rocks were sadly full of trash, pieces of clay pigeons, shotgun shells, firework cases, bottles, you name it. Every time I spotted some bit of color which I thought could be the cache it was a piece of trash. I searched for close to an hour, up & down & in every crack & crevice with no luck.

Out on Barbour Forks trail trying to see how far we can get in the Jeeps. We weren't able to complete the loop in either direction, but we did make it to this spot for the cache. Lots of options, and a ton of wind today! Caching with jpit and Red Ruby (Team Red Rubicon).

Took a few minutes to find this one, was a little nervous about some critter jumping out at me. One of the better finds in a while.
TFTC!

Had a great time snowshoeing in for this one with Sassydil, animjason, tripping and skilroy. It was a beautiful day - too bad there weren't any elk in the meadow. Thanks for the cache!
