Forests stay healthy by perdioically burning.  Someday soon, this forest will spring up, healthy once again.
Oftentimes, people view forest fires as negative events.  Regardless of the cause, when a forest is allowed to burn, it is allowing the forest to restore itself to a healthy state.  This area is so recently burned that the trees still smudge black when brushed against.  But given time, this forest will return to its beautiful natural state again.
