This series of caches is meant to capture a few of the characters from the book Les Misérables. This is a good read while the undercurrent of the volumes are tragedy upon sorrow there is a sprinkling of redemption. The light in the muck and mire of the book is one of the best parts of this novel. Find the caches and maybe take some time and read an old classic.

Jean Valjean is the protagonist of Les Misérables, a former convict who turns his life is turned upside down because kindly act from a bishop. His story of redemption is intermingled with kindness and worry for the sins of his past. This cache is in the form Valjean redemption gift. Should be a short hike and a straight forward hide.

Swung by here in the way to work. Looked and found some pieces of old container. Replaced with new container. Let’s see if some critters take this one too.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.
