Very scenic hike
This is another great hike back into one of the canyons of the Kodels and Devils Canyon Trail System. To reach the cache park at the Devils Canyon trailhead and follow the main trail (D1) till you can make your first right onto what the trail map calls D4 but the trail marker says is D5. Follow this trail for a short distance and take a left onto D4, follow this trail all the way back to the cache. The cache is at the bottom of the cliff not at the top. Great views all along the trail so be sure to bring a camera and plenty of water if its warm out. Trail maps for Kodels and Devils Canyon can be found at the trailhead.

Is there a good hint without giving it away? 3 of us looked forever and couldn't find it. We went all the way back to the trail ends at Devils Canyon

When this was placed, the path was seldom traveled. Now it is a plowed 3ft wide and foot deep horse trail. The bolder is there but there is a well traveled trail to the top. The placement was probably burried or removed long ago.

Had trouble finding the right inroad so it took a little longer than it might have. The cache is in good shape. It was a lot shorter going back! Took mouse, left pencil. sl TFTC
