Welcome to Colorado Springs, also known as
Olympic City USA!
Since 1978, Colorado Springs has been home to the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committees. Over 20 National Governing Bodies of Sport are headquartered here, including USA Cycling, USA Swimming, and USA Volleyball. The Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs was built on the site of the former Ent Air Force Base (the home of NORAD from 1957-1963, before it was moved to Cheyenne Mountain). Approximately 15,000 athletes representing Team USA choose to train here annually, as many believe the high altitude improves their training and performance.

This virtual will take to you the Carol Grotnes Belk Sculpture Garden, outside the
U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center's Visitor Center.
GZ is accessed via the Boulder Street (south) gate.
As of publication, gate hours are 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Saturday.
Gate access & public parking are free.
Information regarding gate access can be found here: https://www.teamusa.com/visit
