This is located as you may have guessed on the Captain Jacks trails. Terrain is mostly up on the way to the cache but not too steep since it is trails all the way up to the cache.
Best parking is at N38° 47.972 - W104°53.020 just follow the trail! All forms of travel except boat can be used on this trail (i.e. Motorbikes, bicycles, horses, and more). I did see someone pushing a three-wheeled baby cart so I know that can be done as well!

Cache container is now a decon hanging in a tree.

Huge thanks to estes01 for replacing this cache after it was muggled!!

Have fun!

Came up the hill from parking near High Drive- this was as far south as I went. Excellent spot to sit & have a snack, and take in an oldie along with the view on a blue- star day.

After grabbing a few other caches in the area we followed Captain Jack's Trail to quickly find this cache. Good hide. SL All was good. Did not trade anything but enjoyed the view!

TFTC. This is such a great spot. This was our highest one for today... a little added challenge finding the best route to GZ. From the map, looks like this is just inside the City limits (the City park boundary). We are carrying a TB with a goal to visit the national parks and forests.... oh so close - we'll have to come back and grab the ones in the natl' forest.

It's amazing how much you can hike like hell whilst climbing your way closer to Heaven! Lol. In honor of Memorial Day, and in the company of good friends, we hiked to May's Peak. We sought one of the oldest caches in Colorado which happens to be dedicated to a fallen solider where Mike read a portion of the letter inside and left the multi page obituary to be read on our own separately. It was a good gathering of people with the weather cooperating with us for a change. On the way down, while dodging ditches, dogs and bikes, we relished in the camaraderie of it all, admires the falls being overflowing for a change, traversed the tunnels. We ended our expedition trying to help someone, whom had stayed in the shallow end of a common sense pool, attempt to get his small car from being high centered to no avail. We wish them well with smiles on our faces while a jeep with a lift approached and rounded the corner to the start. Great day. It was a tough hike at times but well worth the journey. Now off to the Tylenol bottle and tube of aspercream. Thanks for organizing this hike Mike.
