Scenic view  Available during winter

At 11,600 feet, your easiest find will be in winter from the Outback Express lift. You will need to be an intermediate level skier. In the summer you can hike this through free public access National Forest land..

I am one of those crazy audiophiles. For years I have been on a continuous search for the perfect band and the perfect song. Although nearly unknown, in my opinion the group that most nearly fills that bill is a group named Porcupine Tree.

Always fun to get a ski-cache. Crowded today but that didn't deter us. Cache is in good shape. Took a pic since my pen fell into the snow right at the tree and with 2 feet of snow i couldn't get it again. Let me know if you need to see it. Fav point for sure. Thanks!

Five days ago we had no intention of skiing again this winter but after seeing that Colorado was getting fresh snow and figuring out cheap lodging, we decided to use our season passes for some last-minute fun. Sixteen short hours of driving later and we're skiing Beaver Creek for the first time in many years and then Keystone on its closing weekend.

We headed for the Outback as soon as we got on the slopes, conditions were much better than we thought they would be. Took a couple times down Porcupine to zero in on the right spot, pretty easy find once there. Cache is doing well, hopefully it doesn't have to wait until next winter for the next visitors. Thanks vorticity for placing this ski-in cache, we always love to combine the two.

Came over to Keystone today so that RL could ski with some friends - found this one quickly while one of the friends told me if I went to visit in CA he could show me allll of the caches in CA. Quick log sign and then headed down the hill as the snow picked up. tftc

First day skiing in Keystone. Checked my GPS while in the ski lift and noticed a cache nearby. Went down the slope slowly so that I wouldn't pass it. Happy to make a find :)

Wow. The new powder was so much fun this week. We are visiting for spring break from Minnesota. Thanks for placing the cache in the back country.
