Bummed! Got to within 95 ft of the final, but blocked by bamboo fence and didn't want to posthole to the cache. We need more snow!

Found this today on my last day of skiing this season. Found stage one a couple of days ago with no problems and immediately went looking for second stage. My phone GPS was jumping all over the place and I couldn't manage to find it. Today my GPS was dead on and I skied to within about 30 ft of GZ. Found in several inches of fresh powder and still coming down hard. This definitely earns a favorite from me. TFTC!

I found the first stage today, but it was too late to go for the final, so I'll go for it next time I'm around. Thanks for maintaining this cache. I'm looking forward to finding it.
I'm guessing that the two recent DNFs were because of an ambiguous digit from the first stage. I wrote it down wrong and then corrected myself after looking really hard at it a second time.

I checked on this one after the dnf logs. Both the stages are in grate shape. I left a geocoin.

Found stage 1 with Team Dennis. It looks like it is part of the sign, but on further investigation it had the coords on it. We went to stage 2. Triple checked the coords since we took a picture of the. GZ was in the middle of the hill. No trees nearby. Maybe 60ft up the hill was a near-impossible rock formation, and 40ft below was a small group of trees. Team Dennis searched those trees but they were not really suitable for a hide. Maybe the original hiding spot is gone?

Really wanted to bag this one. That 5T is right on the money. Made it all the way to GZ only to discover there is not a single good tree within 100' and no usable tree within 60'. I double and triple checked my numbers and they were correct. Even put in fresh batteries in the GPSr but nothing changed. About the only thing I can think of is the tree got taken out by an avalanche. Bummer...and DNF!

Stage 1 is there and in fine shape. Hoping to get the final tomorrow. Kind of ran out of time today.

It turns out what I spotted last time I was here at stage 1 was a Munzee. I didn't see anything else on the back of the map.

Enjoyed both waypoints of this one - but I liked all the other placements also - TFTC!

We must have hit the top of R lift during the worst wind gusts of the afternoon. I started looking for stage 1 at the wrong end of the hide structure, and by the time I found it Ms. Anne looked frozen. I didn't have the necessary TOTT handy for immediate use, so we will be back on a sunnier day.
