Look for the remnants of an antique truck that's located nearby this cache.

This cache is a short stroll through the woods from Echo Lake Lodge or the Mount Evans Road toll booth. Time will stand still as you ponder the remains of an antique truck about 50 feet away. You are looking for a camouflaged container. (See photos.)

Took a two-and-a-half-week trip with my son (Folboter WBF) who had just graduated from high school. We went from Ohio through Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Calilfornia, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and back to Ohio. We visited lots of great spots like Carlsbad Caverns, San Diego, LA, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite, and Pike's Peak. What a fantastic trip full of great memories!

And of course we did some geocaching along the way! We found caches in 82 new counties for us. We found five state's oldest caches (Tennessee, Texas, California, Nevada, and Colorado). We also visited seven webcams and found 22 virtuals, 19 earthcaches, various challenge caches, a few gadget caches, and lots of traditionals ... almost 200 total caches for the trip! Thanks to the cache owners for putting these great caches out there for us to enjoy on our trip!

Quick find for us today. Came up here to go up the Mt. Evans Highway, but unfortunately it was closed.

Kicking off the summer with a great American road trip to celebrate M4ISU’s belated birthday!  After months of planning, I am finally on the road with Stephenjha as my copilot.  I am logging as we go which makes it easier to keep track of the HUGE playlist we are hoping to accomplish.  If all goes well, I’ll drive 2500+ miles, add 50+ new counties, see 5 different states, find some cool cemeteries, increase my Fizzy and Jasmer progress, find 20+ virtuals, a handful of Earthcaches, a Wherigo, and maybe a webcam or 2!  It’s going to be a crazy weekend!
