A simple cache and dash.

About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a certified barista, roast my own coffee (on a Behmor 1600), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

About This Location

Had to put the cache a couple hundred feet to the south because of an existing cache.

Today we are on the mission to reach
Our 2000th find. We started the day at 1959. The chilly weather makes for a great day of geocaching. While were out we may have placed a few caches too. We love giving back to our fellow cachers.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

I haven’t had an opportunity to cache in quite some time, and tonight on my way home from singing at the nursing home across the street, I just had a hankering for a cache and dash. Reminds me of all the summer evenings I used to spend geocaching before the kids were born.Thank you!
