A nice hike up the Old Ute Trail
This cache was inspired by one of my jobs as a water treatment plant operator, the water runs through it 24/7 365.
This cache is in very loose footing and steep Terrain so please be careful.

The best to park is on Ruxton Ave somewhere near the Cog RR.

The Ute Trail Head is behind the new condo's on the right as you are going up Ruxton Ave just before the Cog RR

This cache was started with Two GeoCoins and a TB

Fun cache! Came at it the “easy way”, but the climb was still slippery. Once we got to GZ, we knew where it had to be hidden, but it was still a relief to see the container. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

Nice hide. But took the hard way

We searched all over GZ. Quite treacherous. I don't think it's there.

We went out on a fun hike with Back Country Horsemen along the Ute Pass Trail. We hiked for 12 miles over 6 hours and found 10 caches along the way.

We definitely took the hard way up to this cache, but even the ground around GZ was treacherous because of all the small bits of granite everywhere you want to walk. As soon as I contacted the cache owner for a hint, Jim from Back Country Horsemen fount the container.

This is day 1318 of our current daily caching streak (day 22 of our Mystery Cache streak). Thanks again for helping us to extend our streak by another day.

TFTC!
