Hiking up Stanley Canyon Trail (707) from USAFA to find this cache and start on the Falcon Challenge. Beautiful morning! Easy find. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

Fun hike today with fearthefish, Back Country Horsemen and KJKlock. The weather couldn’t have been better for us today. Really appreciate you keeping this oldie around for so long.

Found GCCC6E - Shift - 707 on November 1, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, jjasks for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

I think after today I am going to change my geo-name to TheHikingCaboose. I am convinced that the only reason why PayMeCache, Back Country Horsemen, and KJKlock brought me along is because they knew who was lunch if we came across a hungry bear.

But I digress.

Like most of our finds today, someone else found it and had it open before I could even see the container, let alone actually make it to the cache. BCH was prepared and had this one solved for us, which was much appreciated. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching and hiking.

Another puzzle on my to do list for a very long time! We made it all the way up Stanley Canyon & found this large cache. It appears the holding system has deteriorated which is too bad because it is mostly still there , but the cache sits on the ground. But other than that this oldie is ready & waiting.

Solved this multi today (04/30/2017)...and then realized that I had already found it while on a hike with the crew last year! Ooops...retroactive logging now...

Solved this one when I was first in CoSpgs area over 6 years ago but the final would have to wait. Today a group of us hiked the Stanley Canyon area and this one I wanted to get. The last log in this easy-to-find but hard-to-get-there cache was September 28, 2014. Glad to resurrect this one. Now I can claim a find on GC2101G. Thanks for placing this cache. TNLNSL. Great view, great hike with great geocachers. Adding a favorite.

We hiked with UMass72, Werefish, Iamsarahscott, Kerewin0430, and the geodogs Amy and CJ today. We took trail 707 all the way up to the lake for a total of 7 miles round trip in 5 hours. This was a long and exhausting hike for us, but the accomplishment felt great. We found a handful of caches along the way including this one.

Solving this one in its current form was super easy, and the find was not hard either. The only hard part was hiking all the way up here.

This is day 1156 of our current daily caching streak. Thanks for helping us to extend it by another day.

TFTC!
