The eastern trail of the Maxwell Falls trail system provides a relatively quieter alternative to the busier western trail (Lower Falls/CLiff Trail 'lollipop' loop) that passes the namesake falls. We've placed several caches along the eastern trail to provide some additional caching opportunities for those that choose to explore the entire trail system between the Lower Falls and Upper Falls trailheads.

You are searching for a small camoed tupperware container nestled in a bed of needles and sheltered by a rock overhang (the overhang is small enough to fit a small tupperware container underneath). Depending on snow cover, this may be a difficult winter find, however the rock has southern exposure so the south side of the rock usually melts out first.

In winter this trail, as well the other trails in this trail network, is icy so be prepared with proper footwear.

Nice hike before sunset. Coordinates are right on. Thanks for placing this cache.

I intended to grab this one last, but it ended up being my first find along this trail. Managed to make a quick find!
Today I headed to the hills in seek of fame, glory, and caching gold. I found no fame, but did make an FTF. Great day in the hills. The trails are typical of pre-spring - snow, ice, and mud. Somehow I managed to tweak my knee. Hopefully ice helps it out tonight.
Thanks for the cache!

YES! Compared to the last one, this one was a snap and found after a brief search. Shorty and I are really enjoying the new cache's from you guys! Please keep up the good work, BRAVO! Stamped the log, grabbed the Geocoin proxy and staggered off to hide a new one of our own nearby. TFTC

I made the find here at 10:37 am today. THis is the first FTF I have managed to log in about a year. I had a great time hiking around out here today. There is quite a bit of snow in some spots and none in others. I spotted this one fairly quickly and snow was not a problem at the cache site. Thanks for hiding this cache in a nice area to explore. Not that many people out there today even though it was as warm as it was.

I left a geocoin proxy in this cache.
