The bird's eye chili plant is a perennial with small, tapering fruits, often two or three, at a node. The fruits are very pungent.

The bird's eye chili is small, but is quite hot. It measures around 100,000–225,000 Scoville Units which is at the lower half of the range for the hotter Habanero but still many times more spicy than a Jalapeño.

It is used extensively in Thai, Lao, Khmer, Indonesian, and Vietnamese cuisine.

I hadn’t seen one like this so it was fun. Thought the snow was going to hinder us but it didn’t. TFTC.

Third time (with a hint from the CO) is a charm. Dad Wiggy found it - good thing - because even with the hint I don't think I'd know what I was looking at.

That said, our GPSr had us quite a bit away (about 15') from GZ. And THAT said, yes, we know better than to rely too much on our GPSr! This container was a first for us - and so much fun to find.

Thanks again, estrek!

2nd to DNF! :/

We looked for a bit last night but nature called and we went on our way. Tried again this morning after dropping the littlest off at the nearby school. Looked and looked with three pairs of eyes to no avail. We'll watch this one and try again sometime after someone else scores a smiley.

Found while out caching with Team Tiger Pride on this beautiful Memorial Day morning. I've never seen a cache container quite like this one before, so I'm glad that I had a more experienced cacher with me! Very creative, I might use one of these myself in the future. Thanks for the cache!
