This cache is in a nice natural rock amphitheater.  It would be really cool to have some kind of musical performance here, but it would be really difficult to get the instruments in.

I found this place by accident when hiking on an ill-advised route from my Jeep to "Black in Space" and other nearby caches.  It would be best to come to this one after going to those others (approach this one from the East).  It was windy on the day I placed this, but the high rocks all around provide good shelter.  There's a rock formation right above the cache that looks like a man if you see it from a certain angle.

Very nice venue, indeed. It didn't provide too much protection from the wind, though. The wind from coming from over the top and sweeping down the amphitheater. The cache was been bleached in the short time its been exposed to the elements. It blends in better during this time of year, but may stand out a bit during the summer.

This really is a nice venue! Barngineer and I got together for some back country caching today, with Can You Approach Me as the main goal. Well to get to that one we passed by this one. He was entertained while I fumbled around looking for the container, and if it had teeth it would have bitten me several times before I came up with it. We were both surprised when I opened the container and the log had a signature! Balarat had signed the log back in March but still has not logged the find, so no claiming an FTF for me. Frown Thanks for this nice amphitheater hide!
