I love that I can still find gravel roads just outside of surburbia. Watch out for rattlesnakes and cyclists in the summer!

Congrats to Jacobboulder and Tracylhs for a speedy FTF 29 minutes after publication!

Today after work I headed toward Broomfiled with @WindAtMyBack armed with a list of caches to grab. Several were small walks and a few were park and grabs. During our adventure we saw an unusually comfortable coyote (sitting on the frisbee golf course with us less than 100 yards away), and some amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. WAMB found several Pokemon gyms, stops and whatever else is in the game. We finished in Superior and returned to Aurora, Colorado. Thanks for the fun!
Came out here in the dark and parked to the chorus of frogs or toads. Found the cache after an extended search. But my curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to see these loud frogs. So WAMB sat cozy in the car and I made the journey up into the wilderness. Much to my surprise, there is not a lake right here. Just a thin stream. The frogs calls were obviously coming from there. I walked up and searched. I didn't see anything. But every time I put my flashlight in the direction of the noise, they amped up their calls. I still couldn't see them. So I went toward the sound of the next one. I was practically right over it. Imagine my surprise to learn that the loud noise was coming from a tiny tiny frog. About the size of a quarter. He wasn't afraid of me. Curiosity satisfied, I walked back to the FJ and we left. TFTC!

Out for a chilly early morning bike ride. SL. Not where Google Earth shows it to be, in fact the given coords are about 24 feet from the "Stay on the trail" warning sign. Open Space rangers can hand out serious tickets, so beware.
