That is a huge rock! My grandson found it from the hint. Our coords were way off. Great hunt though! TFTC!

I got up early to do some geocaching and some walking before we started the day. I selected this cache as the first to hunt. When I got close to the final turn, there was a detour sign. I was disappointed since I was so close. I drove a few hundred feet along the detour route and then decided to turn around with hopes that my turn was before the road closing. It was! I got to a parking area and saw that the gate to the dirt road was open. So, I decided to drive on. I was able to park by the trailhead, which saved me some walking. I arrived at GZ and began the search. I search for some time and then read the logs and hint. I found the object in the hint, but it was a good distance away from what he coordinates said. Once at that spot, I found the cache easily, and I was 50 ft. from GZ. It was wet inside the container and the log was quite wet. I had a blank log and baggie with me, so I signed that log, placed it in the baggie and then put that into the container. TFTC SL, Aiken, SC (3659)

We snowshoed to the coordinates but they were over 40 feet away from the big rock. So we didn't know if we should trust the coordinates, or trust the hint. In any case, with a couple feet of snow everywhere, we could not find anything.
