We were in the area picking up some other puzzle caches while enjoying a gorgeous Colorado Mother's Day. After a week of fog and rain, the sunshine was glorious. This find stymied us at first until gamma said, "What if the hidey-hole" has broken off?" She looked at her feet and there was the container safely tucked in its host. We signed the log and then decided to put the container back in a similar hidey-hole almost at GZ so that it was no longer on the ground. We will contact the CO in case he wants to move it to a better, more hidden location. Almost a year lonely, it is ready for another find :O)

Having a great time caching with jasperdakota between Castle Rock and Monument on a beautiful day to be out and about. Great area for hides. Scrub oak is not for the faint of heart, especially with a dog on a leash.
Thankfully the cache was not above the level we could sea...

First of seven caches found today in the Monument/Mt. Herman Road area. As can be seen on our public profile, we have found more caches by Tom.dog than any other cacher -- and this adds one to that tally. Solved the puzzle a few days ago, knowing I was going to be in this area, and made the find pretty quickly. All is well here, after not having been found in over a year -- good placement, log is nice and dry and has plenty of blank space left. Stamped it, and headed off to the next cache. TFTC !

We weren't sure if it was going to rain so I made a quick detour to this cache waiting out the clouds. Tftc!
