Start at Springfield, Co. Go north on Highway 287 18.1 miles. Turn east on County road B.5 for 4 miles. Turn south on CR 12 for 1/2 a mile. Parking site is at 37 degrees 39.465 N, 102Deg. 32.845 W. Head for the top of the mountain. This hike is only 7/10 of a mile round trip but you climb 300 feet up. Watch out for snakes if its warm and wear hiking shoes. Enjoy the view at the top.

The cache is in a rubbermaid container. It has a logbook, golf ball, key chain, bracelet, 4x4 truck and other goodies. It is well hid so good luck finding it. P.S. the elevation is 4703 feet.

looked all around the 2003 rock and could not find any evidence of container or swag I think it needs some attention it was heck of a climb for nothing

On a cache run with K9 Jayhawk. Thanks for bringing us here and making us climb this hill/mountain. We met a Kansas church group climbing this butte as well. Container is destroyed and needs replaced. We gathered up all he swag we could and put it back under 2003 rock. Needs a new container preferable a metal on to prevent rodents from chewing it open.

Yay! Found it under 2003 rock! All that remains though is the zip lock bag with the chipotle receipt and some swag items. The next cacher should be prepared and bring a medium size container... It's a large enough spot for any size actually. :) tftc!
