Hayword Park

Here is another small WR park with lots of charm and beauty.

It was the old Wilmore Dahlia Farm and Nursery.

Features include:

1. Bike Trail

2. Pavilion

3. Picnic Tables

4. Playground

5. Veterans Memorial Gazabo

6. Walking Trails

7. Water Fountain (which was a former artesian well)

8. Memorial Benches and a Memorial Walkway

Veterans Memorial Gazebo was dedicated to the Men and Women who served their country.

No wild parties here, the police dept is next door.

Street parking is available and the police station has some visitor parking.

This is another great little pocket park. I hadn’t read the description before I pulled up and I wondered why all the cop cars were there. Heh heh. This was a very fun hunt and it had excellent camo. Great job, MinieB. Thank you for hiding these new caches for all of us to find. I am giving this one a favorite point!

Seeing all of the recently published new caches in the area, we headed out on a mini caching adventure to clean them up. As I was searching for this cache, Mrs.SDC was on the phone with FLM talking about caching when I hear the horn beep. So, I head back to the car and open the door and Mrs.SDC gives me a hint from FLM on where to look. I had looked there but not thoroughly, OMG, I guess I must have blocked it with my left hand when I was seaching down low the first time and didn't spot it until I went back and looked again. WOW!!!! My geo-senses must be off today. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC
