Accidentally grabbed an old small wasps nest (and a few dead wasps with it) while searching for this one. Took me a while.

Maybe not the best place for this one given the signage.

My first inclination in terms of the perfect hiding spot was to check mere inches from the cache, but with the wire up, the signs posted, and double crossing guards giving us the hairy eyeball, that didn't seem like a good idea. After searching everywhere that it might be and all of the places it couldn't be, we used a PAF only to discover that the first inclination was correct. Maybe not the perfect place for this one.

We had thought that for the G train to open, they were supposed to have sorted the silly crossing gates out and quit using workers to act as backups, but evidently that's not the case. Testing of the system began in February 2018, with expectations to remove the crossing guards 'systematically'. Here we are the day before June 1, 2019, and they're still out there with their STOP signs. Astounding. Hmmm... the DIA baggage system that didn't work from Frankfurt. A grade crossing system and PTC system that can't be trusted from Siemens. Whatever happened to the rigorous testing they used to apply back in DE before shipping product?

Had an idea where this one would be but came up empty handed. Will put on our watch list.

They are testing signals today so the train went by a few times while we searched for this nice little hide. TFTV

Thought it was early enough from receiving it find the new cache. Met a fellow cacher, two Bears, who was there watching me look for a while. Mutual find and learned we were one hour late for an FTF. Something strange going on here.;) Nice hide anyway for this cache.

Oh and Two Bears that's LANDY :)

This one took us a long time. Landy49 came along and helped search. We wanted to be FTF but we were about an hour late. TFTC!
