Woohoo, I made it up, A different way but I did make it. And the views are absolutely awesome especially with the aspens turning yellow. Incredible view of pikes Peak and everything in between. Thanks for bringing me up here. Once you get to the top the cache is actually pretty easy to find. And I didn’t have too much trouble opening it by myself. Tftc, i’m making it a favorite just for the view.

This cache has been on my to do list for years. I was happy when THeSKuLL agreed to join me for this one. I was expecting a treacherous climb but THeSKuLL was able to plan out a long, but less difficult, path to the cache. Container is in good condition but may require some help to open. It was fun to check out some of the old swag that was inside. The view from GZ does not disappoint.

I finally decided to come back up to this area. KJKlock and I had a lot of fun on the climb, but we both walked away with scrapes and bruises on the way back down. Watch that ice!! --- Also, don't decide it would be fun to try and slide down a short bit on your unprotected rear-end. I even ripped a small hole in my pants. HEHE!
We took a much easier route to it from the cache we found located to the WSW. From that cache, it was clear that we shouldn't go straight at it. With the type of container this is, we had not trouble spotting it. As noted by another cacher, getting it open was a bit of a chore. I was really just trying not to get injured.
We sat here for a bit to enjoy the gorgeousness that is Colorado. When we headed down to the Memorial, we found that a direct route up to this one would not have been such a great experience. Of course, as is typical of my route decisions, I'm good with some choices and totally miss the mark with others. No trail for a while, but I got us there eventually.
TFTC!

Some days you log 20 caches, some days you log just one...
My daughter has wanted to try this one for 2 years. We did a hike to Stanley Reservoir and completed "DGS: What's in a Number#3 Dont Forget your Towel ?" and when we got home, we realized who close we got to "Revenge". It has take a while for me to build up the nerve to try, but today this chubby 52-year-old and his 14-year-old daughter conquered it.
We had a fabulous time in Stanley Canyon again. The route can be tougher than it needs to be,so choose wisely. We got on a game trail coming back down to out turn point on the trail. The cache is in awesome shape and the the lid is tight...I mean really tight. We replaced some of the Ziploc and put all the patches in one as well. I really enjoyed reading the logs from 2002 until now.
I will say that if I could do this cache, most people could. It is definitely a 4/4. We took 3 hours going up and 1 hour and 45 minutes getting back to the truck. We also had a wonderful picnic at 9380 feet. I have never seen so many butterflies in one place. TFTC and SL.

One heck of a hike but it is possible, GPS is spotty at times though. The view will tell you where it is!

The hike in was a bear, literally! But the views and relaxation was so worth it. Thanks for the cache and the work to set it up. In great shape.

Came over from Eagle Peak as part of a little loop - now, that's a big container! Thanks for bringing it up here for us to find.

Found with Java Chip. We were caching on Eagles Nest and decided to do a little bushwhacking over here. TFTC!

Early morning hike together before hubby heads back to school on Monday :O( Without our Lab this time we were able to make it all the way to the reservoir. We decided to bush wack and grab a few extra caches on our way back down Stanley Canyon Trail. We are 57 and 61---if we can do this, anyone can! While signing the log we looked back to the reservoir and saw the rock formation where we had just been hunting for "Geminamies". Fun! SL Picked up TBOZ5T4X. Thanks for this beautiful-view cache!

Wow, what views from up here! It was difficult finding a route up here, but Snailman1 and I accomplished it. It's nice to find such an old cache and the fact that it is large makes it an automatic favorite for me!
Thanks

It always nice to find a large container. The coffee cups are still inside the cache. Thanks for keeping this old cache alive for Rob14erGuy and me to find!
