The approach to this cache is a little tricky.
Along Black Forrest Rd. and on the west side of the road. I found the easiest approach is parking on the east side of the road and walking across. The name of this cache is a reminder of what you'll find if you go to the Paint Mines in Calhan, although the actual Paint Mines park is much better.

Uhhhh don’t recommend this terrain for wobbly people. Got it though.

This was a fun one to find. Thanks to Andyfam1 and Wolfpack01 for the placement and maintenance of it. All is well with the container but the log is filling up, IN - a special colorful golf tee OUT - nothing TFTH!!

Today was a great day for a caching adventurer. It was a good time to tackle the Planetary Pursuit challenge. Our main objective was the Black Forest Section 16 where we enjoyed a 5+ mile hike and were able to clear the area (with one exception where we didn't have the needed TOTT along). We gathered a few other caches on our way there and took the opportunity to snag a number of puzzles from the completed pile while we were in this neck of the woods. Thanks to all the COs for maintaining these caches making for a very enjoyable day. A very interesting place to stop. Place where we pulled over and put the blinkers on immediately brought the sheriff in behind! He was just checking that we didn't have an emergency and was on his way. A quick find once to GZ. Nice hide. SL TFTC

Pretty chilly with the wind this morning but was glad to come and see area. I love hiking in the Paint Mines and this is similar but without all the colors. TFTC
