This is the 5th in a new series based on nearby stars. An easy walk up from Redstone park, Santa Fe or the Golf course. Close to the trail but may take a few minutes to spot.

Zeta Reticuli is a wide binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum. From the southern hemisphere the pair can be seen as a naked eye double star in very dark skies. This system is located at a distance of about 39 light-years from the Earth. Both stars are solar analogs that share similar characteristics with the Sun.

Zeta is featured often in Science Fiction. In trhe Alien move the spaceship Nostromo receives a mysterious transmission from a nearby planetoid. It sends an expedition to the surface where they find a derelict alien spacecraft. The worldlet is  is located in the Reticuli system. Acheron is the colony's name for it given in the sequel, Aliens.

Barney and Betty Hill were an American couple who were abducted by Grey Aliens from the Reticuli system in a rural portion of New Hampshire from September 19 to September 20, 1961. Greys are dark grey-skinned diminutive humanoid beings that possess reduced forms of, or completely lack, external human organs such as noses, ears or sex organs.Their bodies are usually depicted as being elongated, having a small chest, and lacking in muscular definition and visible skeletal structure. Their legs are shorter and jointed differently from what one would expect in a human. Their limbs are often depicted as proportionally different from a human's; their humerus and thighs are the same lengths as their forearms and shins, respectively.

Half of the tree has fallen over the canal. I'm not sure if cache is still accessible. This cache probably needs to be checked on. thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

12:02:00 PM Out for a ride on the Highline today. I dropped a Colorado Trail hiker off this morning at Waterton - which was the perfect excuse to go for a ride here! I ended up getting lost ( I didn't realize that the canal wasn't continuous) and explored a new bike path near Chatfield. Luckily, since it was Sunday the construction crew wasn't working and I was able to meet back up wtih the canal.. I also had to yield (actually walk my bike) past some very skittish horses. And I quit for the day when I found a rattlesnake guarding a cache. Lots of adventures! Thanks!

That was way harder than I expected. You really have to get back in there. At least I can now end the morning on a find and not a DNF. TFTC
