We hope this to be the first of many we plan to place along the Poudre River. It is a fairly easy micro cache and dash so be sure to bring a pencil. Unbeknownst to us this was a special spot for someone. Please take a moment and read the memorial nearby.

I wandered from Kimball Nebraska to Eagle Colorado today and never was on interstate. In fact I drove about 70 miles on dirt road, or I should say muddy road as it rained lightly for most of the day. Along the way I found 38 caches including my first cache in five different counties. I now have found a cache in all counties in Wyoming, my fifth complete county state.
I was looking elsewhere when I spotted it out of the corner of my eye.

Acachingcat and I came to the area from Florida. Our primary goal was to find as many virtuals and earth caches as possible. We also grabbed a few other caches along the way. We had a whirlwind trip finding 7 new states, hiking to mountain tops and learning so much history along the way. We had a blast and appreciate every CO for placing caches for us to find along the way.

Smithj9 and I left Fort Collins eaarly to take a drive and cache through Poudre Canyon down to Grand Lake. We saw all kinds of neat places and learned a lot about the history of the area on our way. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy while visiting from Florida.
